Limestone. Dominated by thin-bedded limestone. Can be divided into 5 layers, which are ascending: (1) gray-yellow limestone occasionally intercalated with green thin-bedded clayey limestone and shale, bottom unexposed, ~40 m thick; (2) purple-red pure limestone, fragile and with smooth fractures, containing coral Diphyphyllum sp. and brachiopod Eochoristites neipentaiensis transverse, 51 m thick; (3) thin-bedded limestone, in yellow color after being weathered, 57 m thick; (4) yellow-white thin-bedded limestone, with oil odor, as coarse-grained as sand after being weathered, containing poorly preserved fossil fragments, 128 m thick; (5) light red and white thick-bedded crystalline limestone, 139 m thick.
